SOLDA' Racing Wax and Products


SOLDA’ Speed Makers was established in 1934 and is located in Valdagno, Italy. SOLDA’ has over 70 years of tradition in research and development of racing wax and has achieved repeated success at World Cups, World Championships, and Winter Olympics for both Alpine and Cross Country Skiing.

SOLDA Canada imports and distributes the following high quality racing waxes and products:

1. SOLDA Racing Waxes (Fluorocarbon Glide Waxes):
F40, F31, F15, and WC Performance waxes are based on over 15 years of research and testing.  Each line contains different percentages of low melting fluorocarbon to cover a wide range of snow temperatures and humidity conditions.  FC27 (carbon fluor) is an optimal base for racing waxes and additives.

SOLDA’ has added a new high-end fluorocarbon glide wax for 2006-2007:  F40 Top Race Yellow. 

  • F31 High Fluor Racing Wax (rH 70% - 90%)

  • F15 Medium Fluor Racing Wax (rH 40-70%)

  • Low Fluor Racing Wax (rH 40-80%)

  • FC27 Fluor Carbon Base Wax (rH 40% - 100%)

  • F40 Very High Fluor Racing Wax (rH 70% - 100%)

2. SOLDA Racing Additives (Fluors & Powders):
The Fluor powders and solid dice provide the highest performance of glide, ranging from very wet to very cold snow conditions. Cold antistatic and hardener powders are particularly suited for low humidity, cold and abrasive conditions.

  • Fluor Powders (rH 50 - 100%)

  • Fluor Power Jets 1, 2, 4 & 5 (rH > 60%)

  • Cold Additives: S20 Antistatic, S30 Hardener & Power Jet 3(rH <60%)

3. SOLDA Training Waxes (Hydrocarbon Glide Waxes):
HC28 carbon is excellent for renewing graphite ski bases and as a base for cold racing waxes.

SOLDA’ added a new high-end ski service wax in 2005-2006: Techno Red & Green, in 75 g and 500 g blocks.
